G-1 UAV Mk.1 Engine failure

Even designing small UAV's from scratch, a month is a very short time and failures are more prone to happen...

Fortunately I was able to glide the aircraft back to my field, performing a good landing. I almost lost a finger while touching the blown motor once on the ground.

Blown motor coils

Solution: buy another motor, possibly an outrunner brushless to have everything mounted outside the fuselage guaranteeing plenty of fresh air to the motor coils.
