Graduated in Aeronautical engineering at the Polytechnic University of Milan, he obtained the aircraft pilot's license (PPL A) at the age of 17 at the Aeroclub Milano pilot's school.

Since then, he has developed a passion for flying in all its forms, both by theoretical ways on the university's rooms, and via practice by checking firsthand what he has learned by flying (in compliance with the laws and regulations in force, of course).

When already a member of the "Skyward" student group at the university, he proposed the construction of a fixed-wing turbojet UAV capable of deploying a sounding rocket from a height of 8000 meters (roughly 24'000 ft), becoming its technical director for three years. The university project continues today its development and construction with the name of "Cyrano".

Since 2018 he holds the aerobatic rating that allows him to join the numerous national acrobatic flight competitions with aircrafts such as the Mudry CAP10C and the CAP21, obtaining interesting results like a second place in the 2018 Italian championship (sportsman category).

The need to check what was learned at the university led him to the construction of the G-1 fixed-wing UAV to get a starting point on which gain experience and setting new goals not only on the paper but also in the reality, dreaming a Solar-UAV capable of non-stop flying.
